Welcome to Tai Esgyn

Tai Esgyn Housing was established in 1977. Its aim is to provide housing and a range of a support services to enable vulnerable people to live independently in the community. The organisation, which became Tai Esgyn Housing in 1999, is both a registered charity and a not-for-profit limited company.

Tai Esgyn is registered with the Welsh Assembly Government as an Approved Support Provider and with the Care and Social Inspectorate Wales as a Domiciliary Care Provider.

Tai Esgyn provides services across Wales. Tai Esgyn fulfils the role of Managing Agent with a number of Registered Social Landlords and Local Authorities, providing properties which range from one bedroom flats, shared houses and adapted housing for people with physical disabilities and extra-care housing for people over 55 years.

Tai Esgyn works in partnership with the Statutory and Independent Sectors.

Tai Esgyn was awarded Investor in People status in 2008.

In 2009, Tai Esgyn won the Learning Organisation of the Year at the Blaenau Gwent Social Care Partnership Achievement Awards and the Swansea and South West Wales Branch of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's Best Practice Award for organisations with less than 250 employees. The Award was won for the organisation's Marketing Strategy.
